See how this works?

So no. Warrior damage is not overpowered. Warrior damage is nicely balanced. Elementalists just aren't damage dealers in HM.
And thats how you spell T R U T H , thanks for the post Terek , free teaching class for those who lack some practical knowledge on HM Warriors .

Just saying that I have seen what you've written Terek Zelta, but I'm choosing not to respond - I've made my point(s), nothing more to say.

Topic one: above quote

I understand that both points but i a good warrior (more specifically player) will know how to take his class and others to make a beast. It is ignorant to say one class deals more damage then the other. For example i proved that a flourish sin (Warrior/Assassin) kills a group in HM faster then a SF Nuker in Hard mode. however, at the same point a ele can do mods to enhance the natural abilities of it's class. Could ramble for about 40 minutes on that but back to the main topic.

Topic two: Are Warriors balanced?

I have been playing Guild Wars for 4 years and with each expansion came the possibility to see if i could make my warrior effective with the new secondary or new skills provided. For Example, Flourish Sin (W/A) Spirit Spammer (W/Rt yes this works and beautifully it is possible to get 64 energy with a warrior) Avatar Warriors (W/D) and finally a spear chucking warrior (W/P was amazing how easy that was :P). My ultimate point is that regardless of your class you can be another the trick is testing and testing and ignoring others until you have it. It may take a week or a month but everything can be done. Even running Droknar's Forge at level 12.

There is a little bit about my feelings on that. Hope to see you around in game.

id really like to see you run a avatar build on a warrior without Mystism. and spirit spammer warrior with 2 energie regen, had to give up your elite spot for that to use warriors endurance or something and ud be the worst spirit spammer ingame.

as for the warrior being balanced, yes it is. perfect argument? it can kill any class and can be killed by any class. not overpowered

that sounds an awful lot like you're basing your opinion on 1v1 fights :/

You must be joking. Paragons and Warriors can run a spirit spam build just fine, but they require Spirit Siphon and a staff. A high energy, negative regeneration weapon swap helps too. Yes, they will still be inferior to classes with more energy regen or Rangers with Expertise.

Now, please explain how a farming build utilizing only secondary Ritualist skills is relevant to the topic of whether warriors are balanced as a profession.

The builds I used were functional metas. If I saw a warrior bringing By Ural's Hammer on a Dragon Slash bar - or any standard warrior bar - I'd face-plant my desk, and at the very least ask him to bring a better skill. There are better options even for damage on a warrior. You have to have the experience and have to do the math to understand that.

Anyone can load By Ural's Hammer, EBSoH, Asuran Scan onto a bar, spec 10 into Smiting Prayers, maintain SoH on themselves, hit FGJ and be doing insane damage for 10 seconds, but if you do this, then you have no idea how to play a warrior. As a warrior, you don't need any of that to kill stuff. Takes me 3-4 hits to kill something without them in HM, unless I'm in a particularly hard area. So, because of this (things being killed so easily in PVE), we should bring different skills, like utility.

It's not functional. It's not functional because of long recharge times, heavy energy usage, unnecessarily high damage output which forces you to sacrifice any utility, etc. This makes your build unbalanced, which means its only use is in specific gimmicks for a particular area, and that's useless.

And that's what it comes down to. You don't know how to play a warrior. You don't have the experience playing warriors in the actual game, and your tests are flawed because of it. But in the end, so are mine, just because I'm testing on the Master of Damage in the first place.
This. Couldn't have put it better myself.
At this point in the thread it's pretty obvious that you, Jeydra, have never ever played a warrior in PvE. You base all your arguments on tests on MoD, which as nothing nothing(Yes i said nothing twice to make it clear) to do with playing a warrior in the game like Terek says.
This is shown by how you bring a utter horrible bar to MoD, and use it as an argument for warriors being OP in PvE, becuase it does more dmg (over 5 secs) than Terek's.
I think if you took the time to actually make a warrior and play it through a few campaigns, maybe do a few vanquishes, you would understand what people in this thread has been telling you, instead of using MoD as an indicator of how good a class is.

I`d really like to see Warrior`s Cunning recharge time reduced. Whole minute is too much.

Its only useless in PvE and considering how many skills (and skill lines) are worthless there, its hardly an issue.

oh hey, its this thread
